We are the REPA team, where REPA stands for Remote-controlled Electric Airplane. The team REPA consists of eight students from INHolland University of Applied Sciences.
The team is going to improve and complete the design of Kanja glider implementing other features like electrically powered and remote controlled. The Kanja glider will ultimately turn out to Kanja2.0 remote controlled electrically powered aircraft.
Background of the project
The project is an assignment for the elective minor project of 4th year of our study at INHolland University, Delft. Students have freedom to choose their own project during this minor. Thus, the team was formed by a group of students with an ambitious project in mind. The team consists of three students from LS (Lightweight Structures) minor and five students from DD (Design & Development) minor and hence making a perfect combination. The team members have several experience and different types of skills. So, combining the skills of all the project memebrs together, a final flying structure will be built and tested in the air.
Project Tenure
The project started officially from the 10th of November, 2011 and is aimed to finish at the end of January.
